"I grew up in the shadow of the Ancient City Wall in Xi'an. As a child, the starting point of the Silk Road was just my playground. But as I watched tourism explode in China, I noticed something missing.

I saw travelers being rushed off buses to take a quick photo of the Terracotta Warriors, then hurried into crowded souvenir shops. They were seeing China, but they weren't feeling it. They were missing the smell of freshly baked naan in the Muslim Quarter, the quiet dignity of a calligrapher at work, and the stories that only a local friend would tell.

I founded Xiora Travel to change that narrative.

For me, travel isn't about ticking boxes. It's about connection. I wanted to create a travel agency that opens doors to the authentic China—the kind of experience I would want for my own family.
